North Carolina Conceal Carry Course
This is the prerequisite course for an application to obtain an NC Concealed Carry Handgun permit. The course opens with a safety briefing, followed by the shooting qualification on the firing range. After the shooting qualification, there will be 8 hours of classroom training, ending with the written test. Successful completion of the course, and subsequently receiving a CCH Certificate, requires that students pass the shooting and written exams. After successful completion of the course, students will be able to apply for their NC CCH permit with their respective county’s Sheriff’s Office.
